Welcome to The Wood Haven.  This is a website aimed predominately at UK based Woodworkers. We cover all types of wood butchery, from green woodworking, turning, scrolling and all kinds of furniture making.   You can expect to get help and advice on all your woodworking problems.  For example you can ask questions on woodworking joinery, how to finish your latest project, which is the best glue, where to source the best deals on wood materials, etc, etc.  We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with both our members and our sponsors.  The Wood Haven promotes a friendly environment for all ages and backgrounds.  Inexperienced woodworkers are welcomed, along with those who have many years of seasoning (that’s woodworking humour).  Tool fettling and collecting is the status quo, along with real woodworking.  Be it refurbishing some old woodworking machinery or restoring a hand plane to beyond it’s former glory, it’s embraced here.  Come and join in, the fire’s always on and someone’s always got an open ear for your woodworking troubles.
